Merchant Category Codes (MCC)


The Flex Card is a limited merchant category card. It is designed to work only at merchants that provide flex-eligible items or services. In addition to the list below, the card will work at any merchant with an Inventory Information Approval System (IIAS) in place. For example, Wal-Mart has a Discount Store MCC of 5310, which is not listed below, but they have an IIAS in place so the card will be accepted there for eligible items.   • 5976 Orthopedic Goods-Artificial Limb Stores
  • 7277 Debt, Marriage, Personal-Counseling Service
